In order to enable or disable NordVPN Obfuscated servers, follow the steps below for your operating system:
Windows
- Go to the Settings menu (cog icon on the top right).
- Find Advanced settings on the left side menu.
- Enable/disable the Obfuscated Servers (OpenVPN) option.
macOS
- On macOS (NordVPN), you can locate the Obfuscated Servers under the Specialty Servers section.
- On macOS (NordVPN IKE):
- Click on Preferences icon
- Navigate to General.
- Select the OpenVPN (UDP) or OpenVPN (TCP) option in the VPN Protocol menu.
- You can locate the Obfuscated Servers under the Specialty Servers section.
iOS
- Open the settings menu (upper right corner).
- Click on VPN Protocol.
- Select the OpenVPN (UDP) or OpenVPN (TCP) option.
- The Obfuscated Servers feature will be available under the Specialty Servers section on the main screen.
Android
The Obfuscated Servers are available under the Specialty Servers section on the main screen.
Linux
- Type nordvpn set obfuscate on in the terminal window to enable the obfuscated servers, or type nordvpn set obfuscate off to disable obfuscated servers.
- Connect to the obfuscated servers category using nordvpn connect Obfuscated_Servers command.
